Job title: Staff Product Manager – Channels (Platform as a Service)

Location: London (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

We are hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead next-generation web and mobile platform strategy for our fast-scaling international fintech client. This is a high-impact role focused on transforming client-facing digital channels into a modular, extensible Platform as a Service (PaaS) that powers seamless, scalable experiences across teams and partners.

Role Overview

You’ll guide the evolution of the company’s digital channels from siloed products to a unified, component-based platform. Your work will enable internal teams and third-party developers to build tailored user journeys at scale—while ensuring a consistent, secure, and future-facing experience layer. The role requires equal parts product vision, system thinking, and executional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Vision & Strategy – Building the PaaS Foundation

  • Define the long-term roadmap for the platform-as-a-service strategy across web and mobile.

  • Reimagine legacy channels as a flexible, developer-friendly interface framework.

  • Establish platform governance, architectural standards, and modular design principles.

Design System & Developer Enablement

  • Partner with UX teams to build a comprehensive component library and interface system.

  • Ensure the platform supports customisation, white-labelling, and scalable experience delivery.

  • Create pathways for rapid development and consistent UI/UX across teams and regions.

Client-Led Innovation

  • Stay deeply connected to customer needs and partner requirements across markets.

  • Translate user and developer insights into new features, capabilities, and platform enhancements.

  • Keep ahead of industry shifts and emerging patterns in digital platform architecture.

Platform Adoption & Impact

  • Define and track metrics for usage, adoption, developer satisfaction, and business value.

  • Drive PaaS growth across internal teams and partners by shaping strong onboarding and engagement strategies.

  • Present platform impact and ROI to leadership with clarity and confidence.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in product leadership roles, with deep experience in platform development, ideally including PaaS.

  • Strong grasp of mobile and web technologies, cross-platform architecture, and system design.

  • A track record of translating complex business needs into scalable platform solutions.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional outcomes at speed.

  • Experience working with teams across design, engineering, marketing, and developer success.

  • Proven ability to increase developer adoption and user engagement through platform strategy.

  • Familiarity with building and maintaining cross-platform application experiences.
