The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Design Recruiter to help us find and hire the creative talent that powers our work.
This role is flexible in level (Senior, Staff, Principal, or Director Recruiter) and ideal for someone who thrives as a player-coach: rolling up their sleeves to source and close candidates while also helping refine recruiting strategy and process.
You’ll work on multiple active searches at a time, primarily in design, content design, UX research, and related roles like project management, product ownership, program management, and front-end engineering. Your work will directly influence how we grow our practice and deliver on our promise of thoughtful, human-centered design.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain proactive pipelines of top design, content, and UX talent
Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing.
Partner with hiring managers to clarify needs and shape role requirements.
Craft equitable, compelling job descriptions and candidate experiences.
Use data and tools (ATS, Google Sheets, Slack) to track progress and share updates.
Contribute to employer branding efforts, such as design community events or meet-ups.
Support staff augmentation recruiting, ensuring client needs are met with rigor and consistency.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success recruiting for design and UX roles in fast-moving environments.
Background in staff augmentation or staffing recruiting with experience hiring at volume.
Strong sourcing expertise and ability to engage passive candidates.
Ability to advise on and evolve existing recruitment programs, shaping them into best-in-class processes tailored to Think Company’s growth.
Demonstrated ability to attract and hire exceptional talent by leveraging PR, marketing, events, and creative outreach initiatives.
Familiarity with ATS tools (Greenhouse, Ashby, Jazz, Paylocity, or similar).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Nice to have: Experience in a consulting or design services environment, community engagement (meet-ups, employer branding), or responsible hiring practices.
