The company focuses on providing tailored financial solutions for SMEs and mid-cap companies. The company offers foreign exchange activity in over 130 currencies - for both major and emerging markets - as well as cash management strategies, trade finance, and foreign exchange risk management.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Brand Designer to craft a fresh, best-in-class brand. You’ll bring innovative ideas to life swiftly and collaboratively, taking them from concept to execution.

As an individual contributor, you’ll lead key initiatives with autonomy and ownership, driving significant impact across the business. You’ll refine our design process, own high-priority projects, and collaborate with a diverse team to champion our users’ voices and deliver exceptional experiences.

This role is based in London, UK, in a hybrid work environment requiring being in-office 4 days per week. 

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Spearhead creative direction for campaigns, products, and marketing, aligning with business goals and driving innovation across the team.

  • Own and execute design projects, from evolving visual identity to creating marketing materials for social media, campaigns, and billboards.

  • Define and champion the brand voice across all channels, guiding creative direction for copy and design.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Product, Design, Marketing and Sales to ensure brand consistency at every touchpoint.

  • Lead the development of creative briefs and strategies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and vision.

  • Mentor and inspire the team, fostering a culture of growth and ensuring high-quality, impactful work.

You will have:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in brand and communication design, with experience in both agency and in-house roles.

  • Experience developing and evolving identities for large product ecosystems, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Clear design point of view and understanding of how to balance customer needs with business goals.

  • Excellent communication skills to influence and challenge partners with fresh design ideas.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to balance and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
